7.2.1
Access protection
The LMI02 comprises an access code protection to prevent non-authorized access to the
service, parameter and configuration levels. If access protection is activated, these levels
can only be accessed by entering the valid 4-digit code.
During start-up or when testing the settings, it may be required temporarily return to the
operating level e.g. to monitor the increase in value of the detergent concentration.
Therefore, the access protection remains deactivated for 15 minutes after leaving the
service, parameter and configuration levels.

Activate the ACCESS CODE FUNCTIONS menu according to the programming
structure.

Enter the first digit of the four-digit code number with the
↵ key. The second field then flashes. Enter the other three digits in the same way.

Press the NEXT key to confirm.
If the correct code was entered, the instrument goes into service level. From there, you can
access the submenus (press ↵), or enter parameter level (press NEXT) and, from there,
(press NEXT) to go into configuration level.
No code is activated when the instrument is delivered. The first time the instrument is
NOTE
activated, the code number can be freely selected. To deactivate, activate or change the
code, the old (previous) code must be entered.
From the configuration level, the user can reach the EXIT menu (press NEXT). From there,
it is possible to return to service level (press NEXT) or to go back to operating level
(press ↵).
7.2.2
Manual functions
The SP1 and SP2 outputs, alarm message and pre-metering can be manually activated
with the help of the MANUAL DOSING FUNCTIONS menu.
For safety reasons, the ON-time of the manually activated output SP1 is restricted by
setting a limit. (The manual metering time can be set under ALARM CONTROL SETUP in
the PARAMETER FUNCTIONS).
As well as other things, this function is also suitable for determining the delivery of the
pump.
