Combustion air supply
7.1.
General Information
The air for the combustion chamber of the heater must not
be drawn from the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
(Requirement from ECE-R 122, Point 5.3.5.1.).
The air inlet must be so positioned or guarded that blocking
by rubbish or luggage is unlikely.
(Requirement from ECE-R 122, Point 5.3.5.2.).

Preventing siphons
Install the combustion air intake pipe falling away from the heater.
If this is not possible, a water drain hole with a diameter of 4 mm must be
made at its lowest point.

Lay the opening of the pipe in such a way that it does not point in the di-
rection of travel.

Install the pipe opening so that clogging due to dirt is avoided.
