If you want to deactivate this function, press the button „SNOOZE / LIGHT" for
approx. 5 seconds until the symbol disappears on the display.
This function is temporarily deactivated each time the clock receives
a DCF signal.

Troubleshooting

In purchasing the radio-controlled table clock with light sensor, you have acquired a
state of the art, safe to operate product. Nevertheless, problems or faults may
occur. Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults:
The clock does not synchronise or has bad reception:
• The distance to the DCF transmitter is too large or restricted by geographic condi-
tions.
• Change the location, turn off interfering devices like TV sets, computers or
microwave ovens.
• Do not place the clock in the vicinity of large metal surfaces which may screen the
radio signals. Metal-coated windows may also interfere with the signal reception.
• Place the clock at a window for synchronisation and direct its front or back towards
Frankfurt.
• Let the clock run over night to avoid atmospheric interference.

Care and maintenance

This device is maintenance-free. The outside should only be cleaned with a soft, dry
cloth or a brush.
Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the hous-
ing may be damaged.
