clock with light sensor!
You have purchased a product which has been designed according to state-of-the-
art technology.
This product meets the requirements of all applicable European and national
guidelines. Conformity has been established and the relevant statements and
documents have been deposited at the manufacturer.
We kindly request the user to follow the operating instructions, to preserve this con-
dition and to ensure safe operation!

Intended use

The radio-controlled table clock with light sensor serves to decode the DCF radio
signal of the caesium atomic clock in Braunschweig. The clock has the following
functions: Time (daylight savings/normal time, foreign time, dual alarm (two sepa-
rate alarm functions), temperature, dual time (different time zone), background and
night illumination.
Use is permitted in closed rooms only. Do not use it in the open-air.
Contact with humidity, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided at all times.
The radio-controlled table clock with light sensor may only be operated with batter-
ies. Do not use any other source of energy. The suitable battery type is listed in the
"Technical Data" section.
Use, other than described above, is not permitted and can damage the product. and
additional risks, such as short circuit, fire etc.
The safety instructions have to be observed without fail!
