Automatic time levelling
• After inserting the battery, the clock adjusts itself automatically to the current time.
• Do not press any buttons during this process.
• Two beeps sound. The DCF signal is received automatical-
ly. This process may take between 3 and 5 minutes (the
DCF symbol blinks).
• As soon as the DCF signal was received, the date and the
time are set automatically and the DCF symbol appears on
the display.
• If the reception attempt failed, the display remains in
time/temperature mode (basic display) and the DCF sym-
bol goes off. In this case, the time can also be set manu-
ally.
• The DCF signal icon is displayed on the top right of the display.
• The best location for synchronising with the DCF signal is at a window, as far away
from electronic devices as possible.
• If a DCF reception is not possible, the DCF symbol is not displayed.
In case of a disturbed DCF reception, place the clock in a different
site and/or leave it at or close to a window overnight.
Reception is better at night, and in most cases the clock will have
synchronised the next morning.
