c) Assembling the fuselage

The fuselage, the wings and the tail units are made of polystyrene foam. Foam
residues must be smoothed using medium coarse sand paper. Assemble the
fuselage halves and check if they can be glued together without gaps.
Use slow-hardening wood glue to glue the fuselage halves together. Observe
the glue line (arrows in illustration 5, pos. A). Fix the fuselage halves with
adhesive tape until the glue has hardened. Please wipe off remaining glue
immediately with a moistened cloth.
When the glue has hardened, put the silicon tube over the wing attachment
plug (see illustration 2, pos. 5) so that the distance between the tip and the rear
part of the tube is 35 mm (B).
Glue the plug to the fuselage using 5-minute epoxy glue. Make sure that the
silicon tube is properly fitted to the fuselage. Please wipe off remaining glue
immediately with a moistened cloth.
When the glue has hardened, you can proceed to glue the wheel axle guide
(illustration 2, pos. 4) to the fuselage. When the glue has hardened, glue on the
wheel axle (230 x 2 mm) in the exact guide centre (C). Use 5-minute epoxy
glue both times.

d) Installing the rudder

Use 5-minute epoxy glue to attach two rudder hinges (2) to the rudder fin (1).
When the glue has hardened, glue hinges onto the rudder blade (3) as well.
When the glue has hardened, glue a rudder horn (5) into the recess of the
rudder blade (4).

e) Installing the elevator

As described for the rudder, use 5-minute epoxy glue to attach three elevator
hinges to the elevator fin (arrows). Note that the side with the smaller cut-out
(1) is the upper side.
When the glue has hardened, glue hinges onto the elevator blade as well. Note
that the side with the recess (2) is the upper side.
When the glue has hardened, glue a rudder horn into the recess of the rudder
blade (3).
