• Press the workpiece firmly onto the saw table (6)
and slowly slide into the saw band.
• In many cases it is helpful to roughly saw curves
and corners approximately 6 mm from the line.
If it is necessary to saw curves that are too tight for the
saw band used, auxiliary cuts must be sawn up to the
front face of the curve, so that these fall off as wood
waste when the final radius is sawn.
Attention!
For all cutting processes, the top saw blade guide (4)
must be lowered as close as possible to the workpiece.
• To do this, actuate the adjustment handle for the
saw band guard (13) Fig. 2.
• Lower the top saw blade guide (4) and the saw blade
guard (3) as close as possible to the workpiece.
11. Cleaning and maintenance
Warning! Pull out the mains plug before carrying out
any setting, servicing or repair work!
General maintenance tasks
Wipe swarf and dust off the machine from time to time
with a cloth. Oil the rotating parts once monthly to ex-
tend the life of the tool. Do not oil the motor.
Do not use corrosive agents for cleaning the plastic.
Cleaning
Keep protective devices, air vents and the engine
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the
device clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with com-
pressed air at low pressure.
We recommend that you clean the device directly after
every use.
Clean the device at regular intervals using a damp cloth
and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning products
or solvents; they could attack the plastic parts of the de-
vice. Make sure that no water can penetrate the interior
of the device. Water penetrating an electric device in-
creases the risk of an electric shock.
Maintenance
• Always replace damaged push sticks (new for old).
• There is a limit switch inside the device that switch-
es off the machine as soon as the housing cover is
opened. This also prevents the machine from being
switched back on while the housing cover remains
open. Always ensure that this unit functions correctly.

• Since the machine is equipped with a mechanical
brake, check the run-on and braking times of the ma-
chine at regular intervals. This must not exceed 10
seconds. If the measured shut-down time exceeds
10 seconds, do not continue operating the machine.
Contact after-sales service.
• In the course of time, the rubber wrapping on the
blade wheels cracks and gets worn due to the metal
saw band. This prevents the saw blade from oper-
ating precisely. Workplace safety and machine op-
eration are adversely affected by this. Replace the
blade wheels!
