Symbols are used in this manual to draw your attention to
potential hazards. The safety symbols and the accompa-
nying explanations must be fully understood. The warn-
ings themselves will not rectify a hazard and cannot re-
place proper accident prevention measures.

Removing or modifying protective or safety
equipment is prohibited.
Do not touch rotating parts. Getting caught
in the spinning belt will cause a hand injury.
Always put on the belt guard.
Naked flames or smoking near the device is
strictly prohibited!

Clean the air filter in accordance with the in-
structions.
Keep third parties away from the work area.
Danger of poisoning! Only use the product
outdoors and never in closed or poorly venti-
lated rooms.
Important. The exhaust gases are toxic. Do
not operate the engine in areas that are not
ventilated.
Important. Always switch off the engine be-
fore refuelling. Do not refill during operation.
Before carrying out any cleaning or mainte-
nance work, switch off the engine and re-
move the spark plug connector from the
spark plug.
