Treating sweaty hands

Connect the plate electrodes supplied (size 120 x 220mm) to the connecting
cables.
»
When both plate electrodes have been prepared, place them with the bright
side up on the bottom of the bowl.
»
Pour water into the bowls. Fill so that your palms are fully covered by the water.
However, the whole of your hand should not be submerged (see illustration).
»
Please make sure that your palms can make good contact with the plate
electrodes.
»
The Sweat Killer can now be started (see the section of these user instructions
entitled 'Starting the appliance').
»
Select 'Automatic' operating mode (see the section of these user instructions
entitled 'Selecting operating mode').
»
Set frequency regulator to 10 kHz.
»
Set intensity regulator to approx. 15 mA.
»
Place your hands into the water bath. The intensity is now automatically
regulated up to 15mA. The intensity is sufficient if you can sense a slight tingling
sensation on your palms.
»
Treatment is ended automatically after 15 minutes.
»
Remove the sponge electrodes from the water bath.
»
For hygienic reasons, after each and every treatment session it is necessary to
remove the rubber electrodes from their pouch and to rinse in clear, running
water and then to allow to dry out.
»
Allow the surface electrodes to dry out.
»
If the electrodes are stored in a moist condition stains will result (mildew) on the
electrodes and as such they may no longer be used.
»
Surface electrodes which have become discoloured or their structure has become
altered must no longer be used in order to prevent the occurrence of possible
current related skin damage caused by poor conductivity levels. In such cases
please replace the surface electrodes.

Please use a fresh water bath for each new treatment session.
