The rubber electrodes must be fully inserted into the sponge pouches in order to
avoid possible current related damage to the skin.
»
Remove all metal jewellery in the area of current flow before treatment.
»
Use only one device per patient.
»
Place the device onto a dry, safe and solid base.
»
Surface electrodes and sponge pouches which have become discoloured or
their structure altered should no longer be used in order to avoid the possible
occurrence of current related skin damage arising from poor conductivity levels.
This can occur before the maximum 60 applications has been attained.
»
In particular, please take account of the application limitations and the references
to possible side effects.

Warnings

»
Simultaneously connecting the patient to a high frequency surgical device can
cause burning beneath the EMS electrodes.
»
Portable and mobile communication equipment can influence the performance
of medical, electrical devices.
»
Operating the device near (e.g. 1m) a short wave or microwave device can cause
fluctuations in the output of the device.
»
The minimum area for the electrical stimulation electrodes should not be less
than 2cm .

Contra-Indications

If the following applies, the Sweat Killer should not be used or should be used
strictly according to the advice of a physician.
»
Patients with an implanted electronic devices (e.g. pacemakers)
»
Metal implants in the area of current flow (arms or legs)
»
During pregnancy
»
Patients with cardiac rhythm disorders
»
Patients subject to seizure disorder / epilepsy
»
Patients with malignant diseases in the area of application
»
Patients with metallic intrauterine devices (contraceptive coil)
»
Patients with larger area skin injuries in the foot area which cannot be covered
with vaseline
»
Patients with serious sensory disorders in the area of application
»
Patients with deep venous thrombosis
