Before storing, disengage the power take-off (PTO), apply the parking brake, remove the key and allow the
tractor to cool.
If you remove the battery, its life will increase. Make sure the battery is stored in a cool, dry place and keep it
fully charged. If the battery remains on the tractor, disconnect the negative cable.
Before starting the tractor, after it has been stored:
• Check all fluid levels. Check all maintenance items.
• Perform all recommended checks and procedures found in this manual.
• Fully charge the battery.
• Drive the tractor without load to ensure that all tractor systems are working properly.
Troubleshooting
WARNING: Before performing any type of maintenance, disengage all controls and stop the engine. Wait
until all moving parts have come to a complete stop. Disconnect the spark plug plug and negative terminal to
prevent accidental starting. Always wear safety glasses during operation or when making any adjustments or
repairs.
NOTE: If you are unable to troubleshoot the tractor, take it to an authorized RURIS service center for
assistance.

CAUSE Solutions
Fully depress the brake pedal.
If the engine is hot, let it cool and then
refill the fuel tank.
Move the PTO lever to the OFF
position.
Disconnect the shock.
Clean the terminals
Charge or replace the battery.
Visually check the wiring. If the wires
are worn or broken, contact an
authorized RURIS service.
Move the shift lever to the neutral
position
Clean the air filter.
Check and add oil as needed.
