Before Startup

Lock/ release parking brake
Press brake pedal and keep it de-
pressed.
Lock parking brake.
Loosen parking brake; press brake
pedal at the same time.
Unloading
Note: The appliance is fitted with tension
belts, ropes or chains for safe transport.
To unload the machine, proceed as follows:
Lock parking brake.
Remove the tension belts, ropes or
chains from the transport eyelets.
Hit off the blocks used for securing the
wheels and drive the appliance from the
transport vehicle over a suitable ramp
(load bearing capacity of min. 2t).
The machine can be moved in 2 ways:
(1) By pushing it (see Moving sweeper
without engaging self-propulsion).
(2) By driving it (see Moving sweeper by
engaging self-propulsion).
Moving sweeper without engaging
self-propulsion
Open engine cover.
Turn the freewheel lever of the hydrau-
lic pump by 90° (diagonal to the direc-
tion of movement).
Note: Do not move the machine for long
distances without engaging self-propul-
sion, a speed of 10 km/h should not be ex-
ceeded.
Moving sweeper by engaging
self-propulsion
Turn the freewheel lever of the hydrau-
lic pump by 90° (vertical to the direction
of movement).
Start up
General notes
Park the sweeper on an even surface.
Remove ignition key.
Lock parking brake.
Refuelling
Danger
Risk of explosion!
– Only use the fuels specified in the Op-
erations Manual.
– Do not refuel the machine in enclosed
spaces.
– Smoking and naked flames are strictly
prohibited.
– Ensure that no fuel reaches the hot
open surfaces.
Check fuel level via the tank indicator.
Switch off engine.
Open rear engine panel
Open fuel filler cap.
Fill in diesel.
Fill in the tank up to a level 1 cm below
the lower edge of the filling nozzle be-
cause the fuel expands on heating.
Wipe off any spilt fuel and close fuel fill-
er cap.
Inspection and maintenance work
Check engine oil level.
Check water cooler and maintain it.
Check roller brush.
Check tyre pressure.
Adjust driver's seat.
Shake off dust filter.

Operation
Adjusting driver's seat
Pull seat adjustment lever outwards.
Slide seat, release lever and lock in
place.
Check that the seat is properly locked in
position by attempting to move it back-
wards and forwards.
The spring hardness of the seat is adjusted
using the hand-wheel.
Turn the hand-wheel.
– In clock-wise direction: Spring harder
– Anti-clockwise direction: Spring softer
Adjust engine speed
Rough tuning
Press button.
– Drawn out: max. speed
– Pushed in: min. speed
Fine tuning
Turn the button.
– In clock-wise direction: min. speed
– Anti-clockwise direction: max. speed
Adjusting the side-brush speed
Turn the button.
– In clock-wise direction: Side-brush
speed decreases
– Anti-clockwise direction: Side-brush
speed increases
Switch to driving mode/ sweeping
mode
