• Do not disassemble the charger or attempt to service it.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the outlet before cleaning.
• Do not short-circuit; never place any object on the battery contacts.
• The charger is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the charger.
WHEN TO CHARGE THE BATTERY
As needed: To check the available charge, press the Battery Fuel Gauge button (A) and charge the battery if necessary.

HOW TO CHARGE THE BATTERY

1. Open the battery compartment (5) and remove the battery.
2. Connect the battery charger to the electrical outlet. A green light appears. Keep the battery charger dry.
Avoid exposing the battery to rain or wet conditions.
3. Firmly press the charging unit connector onto the rechargeable battery. Ensure the battery is firmly seated
in the charging compartment.
4. A fully discharged rechargeable battery requires approximately five hours to fully charge. The battery will
remain fully charged if left in the charger.
5. To check the available charge, press the Battery Fuel Gauge button.
6. When not in use, unplug the battery charger from the electrical outlet.
BATTERY CHARGE GAUGE
To check the available charge, press the Battery Fuel Gauge button.
The lights on the display will indicate the approximate amount of available charge remaining in the battery.
