AFTER MOWING
-
Always allow the engine to cool before parking the mower indoors.
-
Remove grass, leaves, grease, and oil before storing it. Do not store other objects on the mower.
-
Check all nuts and bolts before next use. Tighten all loose bolts.
-
Empty the grass catcher before next use.
-
Remove the ignition key.
-
Make sure the mower is not parked near a hazardous location. Escaping gas can cause explosions.
-
Only original parts or those approved by the manufacturer may be used for repairs (see address on the
warranty certificate).
-
If the mower is not used for long periods, empty the fuel tank using a gasoline suction pump.
-
Lubricate and maintain the device.
TYPES OF CUT AND GRASS DISCHARGE
MOWING WITH A CATCH BASKET
With the catch basket installed, all grass clippings will be collected inside. The catch basket is used to collect grass
while working.
INDICATOR
The catch basket is equipped with a fill level indicator during work.
•
When the window is open, there is still room for grass to collect in the basket.
•
When the window is closed, the basket is full and must be emptied.
Empty the basket regularly while working. Don't wait until it's full; it's recommended to empty it when it's half full.
MOWING WITH A REAR DISCHARGE OR MULCHING
Without the catch basket installed, grass will be thrown backward.
To use the mulching option, you must install the mulch cover on the rear of the mower and keep the side discharge
closed. This way, the grass clippings are shredded inside the mower chassis and used to recycle the shredded grass
clippings as fertilizer or organic fertilizer.
1.
Remove the collection basket and grasp the mower cover with your hand.
2.
Install the mulch plug in the rear discharge opening and make sure the side discharge is closed.
CAUTION: Only attach or remove the mulching cover when the engine is off.
MOWING WITH SIDE DISCHARGE
Use your hand to lift the side discharge cover and attach the side discharge deflector.
CAUTION: Only grasp and remove the side discharge deflector when the engine is off.
