4. Intended use
The bench grinder with belt sander is a stationary grinding device for
the coarse and fine grinding of metal, wood and plastic. It is suitable for
deburring, rust removal and grinding.
The device is not intended for all other types of applications (e.g. grind-
ing with unsuitable grinding tools, grinding with a coolant solution, grind-
ing hazardous mate-rials such as asbestos).
The equipment is allowed to be used only for its prescribed purpose.
Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user/operator and
not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind
resulting from such misuse.
An element of the intended use is also the observance of the safety
instructions, as well as the assembly instructions and operating informa-
tion in the operating manual.
Persons who operate and maintain the product must be familiar with the
manual and must be informed about potential dangers.
In addition, the applicable accident prevention regulations must be strict-
ly observed.
Other general occupational health and safety-related rules and regula-
tions must be observed.
