5 Connecting the operator box

Electric shock from electronic components
Improper work on electronic components may result in hazardous electric shocks.
► The operator box should only be connected by a qualified electrician.
► Disconnect the electrical power supply.
Risk of injury due to unexpected start
If power is supplied to the robot during maintenance or disassembly, parts can start running unexpectedly
and cause injuries.
► Observe the documentation for the system components.
► Disconnect the electrical power supply.

5 Connecting the operator box
Open the door on the robot control system.

Remove one of the circular rubber seals on the bottom

of the robot control system.
Use a cutter knife to cut across the middle of the

rubber seal and then reinsert it.
Guide the operator box's cable through the
4
rubber seal.
Remove the jumper from J00, J11 and J13.
