3. OPERATION
Recommendation
-
Both the glass lid and the ceramic bowl will reach very high temperatures during use. Use
the appliance carefully and with gloves.
-
The slow cooker works by creating and accumulating heat and maintaining a stable
temperature. For best results, do not remove the glass lid until at least halfway through
the cooking process. The glass lid allows you to control the cooking process without
interrupting it.
1.
Place the ceramic bowl into the base of the cooker and make sure it is correctly positioned
before continuing. Fig. 2
2.
Place the ingredients in the ceramic bowl. Never put the ingredients directly in the cooker,
always use the ceramic bowl. Fig. 3
Warning
It is recommended to fill the bowl 2/3, do not overfill.
3.
Place the glass lid on the ceramic bowl to cover the pot. Fig. 4
4.
Connect the product to the mains and select the desired power level. The power indicator
will light up, and the cooker will start to operate. Fig. 5
5.
Keep the cooked ingredients inside the cooker on low power to keep them warm until
serving.
6.
When you have finished cooking, unplug the device from the mains. Fig. 6
7.
Remove the glass lid wearing gloves. Make sure that the steam accumulated inside the
device is not directed at any body parts to avoid burns. Fig. 7
8.
Carefully lift and remove the ceramic bowl. Place the ceramic bowl on a heat-resistant
surface. Be careful when placing the bowl directly on polished or delicate surfaces, as the
base is not enamelled and could scratch or mark them. Fig. 8
Cooking settings
The cooker has 2 cooking powers:
1.
Low: allows ingredients to be simmered for long periods of time. It can also be used to
keep the ingredients warm until you want to serve the food.
2.
High: used for roasting or cooking dried pulses. Cooks the ingredients in half the time
as on low power. When using the slow cooker on high power, the cooking process may
require a larger amount of water, depending on the type of recipe and cooking time. When
cooking on high power, it is important to check the status of the cooking process regularly.
The cooking time should vary between 4 and 8 hours.
