IV. Equipment installation
The X'COMP® must be installed on a clean, fl at surface to ensure optimum functioning.
Use a base-plate spirit level to check the product is perfectly vertical before fastening it to the fl oor with a SPIT cartridge (SAM ref.: 168-40MN)
The equipment must be connected to the lubricated air network using the 1/4" male swivel coupling located on the left-hand part of the chassis.
It is important to check that the pressure of the air network is comprised between 6.5 and 10 bars. Use a pressure reducer if the pressure exceeds
the maximum authorised pressure.
The equipment must be fastened to the fl oor using the 4 attachment lugs provided for that purpose, or to the fl oor
and the wall by fastening the 2 attachment lugs on the equipment' s frame and the 2 fl oor attachment lugs.
The attachment screws and dowels (dia. 10) are not supplied, and depend on the type of fl oor.
Utilisation instructions
BEFORE USING THE SPRING COMPRESSOR, CHECK IT IS CORRECTLY CONNECTED TO THE AIR NETWORK. ALSO MAKE SURE THAT THE
MACHINE IS CORRECTLY FASTENED TO THE FLOOR WITH A SPIT CARTRIDGE. THE SHOCK ABSORBER MUST BE UPRIGHT AND PROPERLY
TIGHTENED IN ITS ATTACHMENT. THE DOOR MUST BE LOCKED TO ALLOW THE COMPRESSOR TO FUNCTION.
