III. Unpacking the equipment
PPE must obligatorily be worn when handling the equipment and you are advised to strap up the device.
The X'COMP® is delivered attached to a wooden pallet. Position the pallet in the place where you want to install the equipment then remove
the cardboard packaging. Use a forklift truck with adjustable forks to lower the equipment from the pallet. Unscrew the X'COMP® from the pallet.
Turn over the attachment lugs so you can lift the X'COMP®. Place the truck's forks against the walls of the X'COMP® and under the attachment lugs.
Lift the X'COMP® by about 2 centimetres and move it to the place where you want to install it.
Lastly, turn over the X'COMP®'s attachment lugs.
If you do not have a forklift truck, proceed as follows: Two people are required to remove the equipment from the pallet. Tilt the X'COMP®
to one side by gripping the upper part of the equipment while sliding it until the lower part protrudes beyond the pallet and touches the fl oor.
Remove the pallet and position the equipment in the place where you want to install it.
THE CARDBOARD PACKAGING MUST BE DISPOSED OF IN A PLACE PROVIDED FOR THAT PURPOSE,
AND YOU ARE ADVISED TO KEEP THE PACKAGING OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
