START-UP FOLLOWING THE REPLACEMENT OF PARTS OF THE LPG SYSTEM
The START-UP after the ASSEMBLY and INSTALLATION of the Caramatic SafeDrive can
only take place after an inspection by a professional in accordance with "DVGW Code of
Practice G 607 (A)" point 10.3.6. Germany: "If an LPG system has been modified or repaired
with regard to its condition, arrangement or mode of operation, or if parts of an LPG system
(e.g. an LPG appliance) have been replaced, the LPG system may only be returned into
operation after it has been checked by an expert*, such that it is in the proper condition and
no defects have been determined in accordance with the scope of the repair work or the
replacement." See USER QUALIFICATION!

Apply the adhesive accompanying the product to a visible area of the safety gas
pressure regulation device.
OPERATION
Resetting the crash sensor pendulum
If the crash sensor pendulum has been triggered, which can only be determined by the lack of
gas supply, carry out the steps under START-UP OF CRASH SENSOR PENDULUM.

Start the system by slowly opening the gas supply
while the shut-off fitting of the connected
consumption equipment remains closed.
1. Activate the crash sensor pendulum:
by pushing the green crash sensor pendulum
push button (no fingers).
2. Open the gas cylinder valves
3. Open the shut-off fitting of the connected
consumption equipment.
4. Observe the assembly and operating manual
of the connected consumption equipment!
Action
 Close the gas supply.
 Do not use any electric switches.
 Do not use a phone in the building vehicle / trailer.
 No smoking!
 Ventilate rooms well.
 Shut down the LPG system.
 Contact a specialised company.
 Open the gas cylinder valve or the shut-off fittings.
