- To switch on the appliance press the button ON/OFF and press the + button or turn the power regulation
knob within 5 seconds.
- Use the power regulation knob to select the desired power from level 1 to 19. The selected power is indicated
on the display, the higher the number, the higher the power. The control lamp COOK lights up, indicating that
the appliance is in cooking mode. The control lamp HEATING lights up when the suitable cookware is detected
and is being heated.
- To change to keep warm function, press COOK/HOLD button. The control lamp HOLD lights up. Press the
+ or - button to set the temperature. The set temperature is shown in the display.
- To change back to cook function, press COOK/HOLD button again.
- After use switch off the appliance by pressing ON/OFF button. Pull the plug from the socket and let the
appliance cool down completely.

suitable cookware is detected and is being heated.
- After use switch off the appliance by pressing ON/OFF button. Pull the plug from the socket and let the
appliance cool down completely.
6.3
Notices for use
- Choose the size of the cookware/serving dishes appropriately to the quantity to be prepared.
- Only place the cookware/serving dish on the glass ceramic plate carefully. Do not slide it, instead lift it up
and set it down in the desired position. Make sure that you do not slide it when portioning and taking out the
food. This will prevent scratches and potential damage to the surface.
- Make sure that the cookware rests securely on the appliance and does not protrude over the side of the glass
ceramic plate.
- Use high temperature settings / power settings for a short time only when searing or for rapid boiling. For
keeping warm or gentle cooking, a temperature between 60 °C - 100 °C is ideal.
- In order to keep food warm reliably, heat up the empty serving dish before filling it and cover it with a matching
lid.
- Stir the food as necessary in order to keep it consistently warm.
- In order to prevent food residues from burning in and being difficult to remove afterwards, do not leave the
empty cookware on the switched on appliance.
- Remove residues, especially from sugar or sugary food, from the glass ceramic surface immediately in order
to prevent them from burning in onto the surface.
