Before the first use
- Read the instructions and safety guidelines carefully before using the appliance.
- Remove all packing materials and make sure that all parts as in chapter 8 Scope of delivery are present and
in proper condition.
- Wipe the appliance with a soft, slightly moistened cloth only. Dry it off thoroughly afterwards.
- Do not use any sharp or pointed objects, gasoline, solvent, scrubbing brushes, or abrasive cleaning agents
for cleaning.

Cookware / Serving dishes
5.3.1
Induction unit 58 9630 25 01 / 58 9635 35 01
We recommend using SPRING induction cookware or Chafing Dishes from the CBS range. These are optimally
suited for the induction unit.
Cookware made of the following materials can be used on the induction unit:
- Iron
- Stainless steel 18/0
- Cast iron
- Enamelled cookware of iron or steel
Other cookware must meet the following requirements:
- The cookware must be magnetic.
- The bottom of cookware must be flat and level.
- For model 58 9630 25 01 the bottom diameter of the cookware should be between 12 cm and 27 cm.
- For model 58 9635 35 01 the bottom diameter of the cookware should be between 12 cm and 30 cm.
Caution!
Simmering pots must be watched closely, as the liquid can boil away without being noticed.
The following cookware is not suitable for use on the induction unit:
- Pots with a diameter of less than 12 cm.
- Pots made of aluminium, ceramics, glass, copper or brass without an induction base.
- Pots with feet or with a concave bottom.
5.3.2
Induction unit for wok 3.5kW 58 9640 35 01 (Round bottom)
We recommend using the inductive SPRING wok with round bottom. This is ideally adapted to the shape of the
recessed glass surface, which could be damaged by other cookware.
