Installation site requirements
- Place the appliance on stable and flat surfaces only. As well, take into account the weight of the cookware/
serving dishes including the food.
- Place the appliance on heat-resistant surfaces only, but not on metallic surfaces, as these may heat up due
to the heat generated by the appliance. Do not place tablecloths, table mats, etc. under the appliance.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
- Do not place the appliance near or on hot surfaces (heaters, hot plates, or other heat sources). Make sure
there is enough space next to and above the appliance.
- Make sure that enough cold air (max. 40 °C) can be sucked in from the front. Maintain a distance of at least
10 cm between the back of the device and the next wall so that the heated outgoing air can escape freely.
- Keep a safe distance from easy flammable materials such as napkins, tablecloths, etc.
- Ensure that the power cord does not have any contact to hot surfaces at the device or other hot surfaces such
as hot plates or hot liquids. Make sure it does not pass over sharp edges and is not kinked or bent.
- Also ensure that the power cord does not hang down from the table or worktop so that no one can trip over it
and cause the appliance to be pulled down.
