Connecting the Testing Cable to the Copper PIM
You do not need to remove the Copper PIM from your Trend Multipro to
connect the testing cable to the Copper PIM. Make sure that you connect
the correct testing cable to its corresponding testing port. See Notes below.
1. Switch Trend Multipro off.
2. Push the testing cable connector firmly into the top end of the Cop-
per PIM.
Notes: The Active Probe testing cable, with the Red Sleeve, MUST be
connected to the Tx/Rx Port. The Passive Probe, with the Plain Black test-
ing cable, MUST be connected to the Tx Port.

Disconnect the Probe Line Pair Connection Cables
from the line under test BEFORE you disconnect any
Testing Cables from the Copper PIM. This is for your
safety.
