Line Pair Connector Cables
These are used to connect the probe, using crocodile connectors, to the
line under test.
Connector a: Connect to leg 'a' of the line pair.
Connector b: Connect to leg 'b' of the line pair.

Testing Cables

These are used to connect the probes to the Copper PIM.
The testing cables and probes are supplied as separate items and you will
need to assemble them before use.
Connecting the Testing Cables to the Probes for the First Time
You MUST connect the cable with the Red Sleeve to the Active Probe
and connect the Plain Black cable to the Passive Probe to aid identification.
Notes: Do NOT remove the testing cable from a probe after you have con-
nected them. A probe and its testing cable should be returned to Trend for
repair, servicing or maintenance if required.
