RJ11 Line Connectors: These are used to connect the Trans-

ponder to Trend Multipro or the line under test.
Earth Connector: This is used to earth the transponder and we
•
recommend that you connect an earth cable and use it during a
test when using the Transponder.
Address Setting Dial: This is used to set the Transponder Ad-
•
dress which is used by Trend Multipro to identify any Transponders
on the line.
Line Activity LED: Green flashing =Transponder is in standby.
•
Red = testing.
Power Indicator LED: Green flashing = Battery OK. Red flashing =
•
battery low.
Mains in Adaptor: This is used for connecting the Transponder to
•
the mains electricity supply using the external mains adaptor. When
the mains adaptor is switched on and connected to the Trans-
ponder, the Transponder is powered by the mains adaptor instead
of the batteries. For correct operation of the Transponder, use
only adaptor 420577 (Type 12) or 405488 (Type 15).
On/Off Switch: Use to switch Transponder on and off.
