Assembly
m Attention!
Always make sure the product is fully assembled be-
fore commissioning!
9.1
Insert flat chisel (A) or pointed chisel (B)
(Fig. 2)

Always clean the flat chisel (A) or pointed chisel
(B) before inserting it.
2.
Grease the shaft with a little grease (not included
in the scope of delivery).
3.
Now pull the locking bolt (8) out as far as it will go
and turn it 180°. Release the locking bolt (8) again.
4.
Insert the flat chisel (A) or pointed chisel (B) into
the tool holder (7) and push it in as far as it will go.
5.
Turn the locking bolt (8) out again by 180° and re-
lease it.
6.
Finally, check that the tool is locked.

Insert flat chisel (A) or pointed chisel (B)
(Fig. 2)

Now pull the locking bolt (8) out as far as it will go
and turn it 180°. Release the locking bolt (8) again.

Now remove the flat chisel (A) or pointed chisel (B)
from the tool holder (7).
m Warning!
The flat chisel (A) or pointed chisel (B) may get
hot during operation.
10. Commissioning
10.1 Adjust the additional handle (6) (Fig. 1, 3)
For safety reasons, only use the demolition ham-
mer with the additional handle! For your safety, the
product may only be held by the two handles (4 and 6).
This avoids the risk of an electric shock when chisel-
ling in the event contact is made with lines.
The additional handle (6) allows the user to maintain a
firm hold when using the demolition hammer.
1.
Loosen the clamping screw (9) to adjust the addi-
tional handle (6).
2.
Now turn the additional handle (6) to a comfortable
and safe working position.
3.
Retighten the clamping screw (9) firmly.
10.2 Switching the product on/off (Fig. 1)
Make sure that the on/off switch (2) is OFF before in-
serting the plug into the socket.
1.
Switching on: Firmly press the on/off switch (2).
2.
Switching off: Release the on/off switch (2) again.
3.
Continuous operation: Firmly press the on/off
switch (2). Then press the locking switch (3).
4.
Interrupt continuous operation: Press the on/off
switch (2) firmly to release the locking switch (3)
and end continuous operation.
Attention!
• Always make sure that the product has come to a
complete standstill after you have switched it off.
• Always switch off the product before unplugging the
mains plug.
• Never pull the plug out of the socket using the cable.
(Risk of damage!)
10.3 Select working position
Horizontal working position: Hold the additional
handle (6) with your left hand and the handle (4) with
your right hand (for right-handed users).
Vertical working position: Hold the handle (4) firmly
with both hands.
Attention:
• Only work with moderate pressure to maximise im-
pact absorption.
11. Electrical connection
The electrical motor installed is connected and
ready for operation. The connection complies with
the applicable VDE and DIN provisions.
The customer's mains connection as well as the
extension cable used must also comply with these
regulations.
Damaged electrical connection cable
The insulation on electrical connection cables is of-
ten damaged.
This may have the following causes:
• Pressure points, where connection cables are
passed through windows or doors.
• Kinks where the connection cable has been improp-
erly fastened or routed.
• Places where the connection cables have been cut
due to being driven over.
• Insulation damage due to being ripped out of the
wall outlet.
