OTHER SAFETY AND WORKING INSTRUCTIONS
• Avoid abnormal postures. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times.
• Using protective equipment. Always wear safety
goggles when working with the machine. Protective
clothing such as a dust protection mask, protective
gloves, sturdy and non-slip footwear and hearing
protection are absolutely necessary.
• Dust generated when working is often harmful to
health and must not get into the body. Thoroughly
remove deposited dust, e.g. vacuum up.
• Materials that pose a health hazard (e.g. asbestos)
must not be processed.
• Always keep the connection cable away from the
machine's operating area. Always lead the cable
backwards away from the machine.
• Please switch off the device immediately when the
insertion tool is blocked! Do not switch the device
on again while the tool attachment is blocked; this
could result in a kick-back with a high torque re-
action.
Determine and remedy the cause of the insertion
tool blockage, taking the safety instructions into ac-
count. Possible causes for this can be:
- Jamming of the workpiece to be machined
- Breaking through the material to be processed
- Overloading of the electrical tool
- Do not reach into the machine while it is running.
mWARNING! Danger of burning!
The tool attachment can become hot during use:
- when changing tools
- when placing the product
m Warning! This power tool generates an electro-
magnetic field during operation. This field can impair
active or passive medical implants under certain cir-
cumstances. In order to prevent the risk of serious
or deadly injuries, we recommend that persons with
medical implants consult with their physician and the
manufacturer of the medical implant prior to operating
the power tool.
