sized ones e.g. whole chicken or the meals prepared in higher dishes e.g. au gratin or cake. High
cooking rack is used for products to be cooked in low dishes with solid bottom e.g. small forms for
cakes and for roasting of shish kebab etc.
4. The distance of at least 2 cm should be provided between the product and fan grille.
NOTE! The table specifying times and temperatures of roasting, included in the present manual
contains approximated values – actual values may differ from those included in the ta-
ble – in accordance with the weight of products, their freshness and degree of freezing.
USE OF HALOGEN OVEN
1. Place the product onto the cooking rack. The product is laid directly onto the cooking rack (chick-
en, fish, toasts etc.) or onto aluminium foil coated with oil. Prior to laying
the product directly onto the cooking rack, the latter should be coated with oil.
2. Close the lid of halogen oven and make sure that is is fitted securely.
3. Insert the plug into the socket.
4. Depress the holder of the oven incorporated on the lid. Then rotate the timer knob clockwise –
orange caution light will go on.
5. Set required temperature by means of the temperature knob – green caution light will go on.
When the value of temperature setting is achieved, temperature indicator will go off.
6. The operation of the appliance will be completed automatically after the lapse of roasting time
which has been set previously.
7. After lifting of the holder, the electric energy supply will be discontinued and the previous position
of safety switch will be returned automatically.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
1. Prior to commencing the cleaning pull out the plug from the plug socket and allow the halogen
oven to cool completely.
2. In order to clean the housing, it can be wiped with moist cloth with some washing-up liquid.
3. The oven bowl can be washed under running water; but the hot bowl must not be immersed in
cold water.
4. In case of excessive fat deposits on the heater enclosure, the latter should be dismounted after
unscrewing of screws, washed in water with addition of detergent, rinsed thoroughly and dried.
5. Rack can be washed in water with some washing-up liquid.
WARNING
- Do not immerse the glass lid in water or place under running water.
- Do not place the glass lid in a dishwasher.
- The permanent damages of the appliance elements are possible in case of penetration of any
liquid into the lid interior.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the metal surfaces nor any aggressive chemicals.
SELF – CLEANING FUNCTION
1. Add approximately 4 cm of water into the glass bowl with a squirt of washing up liquid.
2. Replace the glass lid.
