Calculation of the softening capacity

Depending on the amount of softener resin used, a softening system can soften different amounts of
water.
The hardness of the raw water also significantly affects the capacity of a system.
Both values must be known and stored in the control valve, in order to ensure that the system func-
tions as economically and correctly as possible.
Use a total hardness measuring kit to easily determine the existing raw water hardness. Alternatively,
you can find the water hardness in the information provided by your water supply company (e.g. on
their website).
