9. Commissioning
•
Fill approx. 10 litres into the cabinet (up to a height of approx. 10 cm). The optimum wa-
ter level in the salt container is after the first regeneration.
•
Check that the brine line (3/8" diameter) between the control valve and float valve is
tight.
•
Connect the control valve to the power supply. LCD display flashes and shows the time
and remaining capacity.
•
Now carry out a manual regeneration. To do this, turn the large rotary knob on the con-
trol valve clockwise from the "SERV." position To the position "BA. WA.". The display
shows
•
The system now performs a manual regeneration.
•
Now the backwash begins.
•
The remaining time is shown in the bottom line of the display.
•
When the remaining time has elapsed, the knob turns to the "BRINE" (brine) position.
The display shows
The system now carries out the salting of the softener resin.
After salting, the system carries out the "RINSE" (quick rinse) and "FILL" (fill brine tank) steps.
Make sure that the system does not draw air through the brine hose and check the brine hose con-
nections if necessary.
Wait until the end of manual regeneration (approx. 45 minutes).
•
The system has now rinsed the softener resin and pumped the right amount of water
into the brine tank.
•
Now add salt tablets to the brine tank until it is completely full. Salt must be at least
above the water level so that sufficient brine can form. It takes approx. 4-6 hours for the
salt to dissolve in water to the maximum concentration and form a brine. This lowers the
fill level of the salt tablets. Do not add any additional water!
•
The settings can now be made on the control valve. (System is completely preset by us.)
All you have to do is set the time and capacity
