8. Installation
The installation of the system must comply with the applicable standards and regulations.
Connecting the mounting block
Before starting work, close the main shut-off valve.
Then open a water supply point behind it and release any residual water pressure.
The mounting block should be installed in the installation line after the water meter, the water filter
and, if applicable, the pressure reducer.
It is essential to pay attention to the direction of flow of the mounting block (arrow on the mounting
block).
Position the control tap (at the front) and the plug (at the back) according to the direction of flow.
Close the two outer valves on the mounting block. Then open the central bypass valve. The main stop
valve can now be reopened. The water now flows through the bypass of the mounting block. Check
for leaks.
Waste water connection
There must be a sewer connection close to the installation site. You can lay the waste water drainage
pipe at a maximum height of 120 cm from the installation's drainage connection. The length should
not exceed 6 metres and the slope should be at least halfway down.
Connect the drain hose (diameter 12 mm) to the drain connection (at the back of the control head)
of the control valve. Secure the connection with a hose clamp.
Connect the overflow hose to the overflow on the cabinet housing (at the back of the salt tank).
Route the ends of the hoses to the channel connector (both separately, do not connect them with a
T-piece.) Risk of backflow!). Use an open outlet and/or non-return valve (risk of backflow). Secure the
pipes sufficiently (risk of slippage due to water hammer).
Connecting a water softener
Align the installation at ground level in the desired location. Make sure the floor is level and clean.
Rubble or stones can damage the cabinet housing.
