9. Commissioning

• Fill approximately 15 liters of water into the cabinet housing (up to about 25 cm in height).
After the first regeneration, the optimal water level will be reached in the salt reservoir.
Ensure that the brine line (3/8" diameter) between the control valve and the float valve is
•
securely sealed.
• Connect the control valve to the power supply. The LCD screen will blink and display the
time and remaining capacity.
Perform a manual regeneration. To do this, turn the large dial on the control valve clockwise
•
from the "SERV." position to the "BA. WA." position. The display will show...
Backwash
• The system will now perform a manual regeneration.
• Backwashing will begin.
The remaining time will be displayed on the lower line of the screen.
•
After the remaining time has elapsed, the dial will turn to the "BRINE" position..
•
The display shows:
The system is now performing the brining of the softening resin.
After brining, the system will perform the steps "RINSE" (Fast Rinse) and "FILL" (Brine Tank Refill).
Ensure that the system does not draw air through the brine hose; check the brine hose
connections if necessary.
Wait for the manual regeneration to complete (approximately 45 minutes).
The system has now rinsed the softening resin and pumped the correct amount of water into
the brine tank.
- Fill the brine tank completely with salt tablets. It will take approximately 4–6 hours for the salt
to dissolve into the water, reaching maximum concentration and forming brine. This will cause
the level of the salt tablets to drop. Do not add extra water!
-The control valve can now be set. Simply configure the time (TIME), days until regeneration
(REG. DAYS), and capacity (REG. CAP).
