Remove the heater:
1) Screw down the ② Tip enclosure and ③ Nut;
2) Pull out the ① Soldering tip;
3) Screw down ④Nipple;
4) Pull out the ⑤ Heater and ⑦ Wiring board;
5) Soldering iron will ⑤ Heater four wires.
Replace the heater:
1) First, put the ⑤ Heater through the ⑥ Grounding spring, perforate and
solder the heater wire according to the hole position of the wire removal, and
cut off the excess thread.
2) Install ⑤ Heater into ⑧ Handle case by aligning it with the handle recess;
3) Screw on ④ Nipple and install ① Soldering tip;
4) Put ② Tip enclosure and ③ Nut on ④ Nipple and tighten them;
5) After replacing the heater, the following measurements are recommended:
6) Calibrate the temperature, refer to Soldering temperature calibration.
NOTE: Do not burn the wiring when replacing the heater. Do not take too
long to solder the wire.
The 2 blue wires on the sensor have positive and negative polarity. (Negative
pole can be absorbed with the magnetic beads, and the negative blue wire is
longer）
2.13.2 Hot Air Heater Replacement
CAUTION: Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel or an
authorized workshop! All work must be carried out without voltage and with the
components cooled down to room temperature!
