The charger features the following safety features
to prevent damage to the charger and the battery
or the vehicle:

No battery connected.

Incorrect battery voltage (6 V / 12 V)
selected.
Battery incorrectly/not connected
No power supply, charger not plugged in.
Only a very low charging current is used

battery warms up, the charging current is
adjusted accordingly.
Battery capacity too high for the charger
being used.
Battery wasn't charged long enough.

Solution
Connect battery (see "Connecting the
device").
Unable to charge battery.
• Only connected compatible batteries
(see "Intended Use").
• Verify the charging rate is set correctly.
Dispose of battery in an environmentally-
friendly manner.
Unplug charger and wait for the LEDs to
go out. Reconnect the charger and select
the correct battery voltage.
Unplug charger and check the connections.
Verify the charger is connected to a 230 V
mains socket. Battery may be defective.
Charge battery in normal conditions.
Explosion hazard!
Never charge frozen batteries.
Use a suitable charger.
Ensure the battery is charged long enough.
