9. Maintenance instructions
We recommend that the wheelchair is inspected by a specialist dealer
at least once a year.
In the event of faults or defects on the wheelchair, it must be handed
over immediately to the specialist dealer for repair. The repair and
replacement of parts is carried out by the specialist dealer.
The necessary information and documents for repair and maintenance
will be made available to the specialist dealer on request.

9.1. Maintenance advice for the
specialist dealer
Maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the Bischoff &
Bischoff maintenance plan. A maintenance schedule will be provided
upon request. A training programme for the specialised trade is also
available.

10. Repair
Repairs and maintenance may only be carried out by authorised
partners (medical supply stores or specialist dealers). Please contact
our customer service by telephone to find a partner in your area. You
will find the contact details on the back of this instruction manual.
11. Transport
11.1. Transport of the wheelchair
To make the wheelchair as handy as possible for transport, remove all
detachable parts (leg supports, drive wheels, armrests, insertable
accessories) and fold the wheelchair (see chapter 5.2).
Your wheelchair should only be transported when folded (Fig. 42).
When folded, the wheelchair should be secured to fixed frame parts in
the vehicle.
11.2. Transport in motor vehicles
You can tell whether or not your wheelchair is approved as a seat in a
motor vehicle for transporting mobility-impaired persons by the
symbols on the type plate on the product (see chapter 4.4):
Wheelchair not suitable as a seat in a motor vehicle for transporting
mobility-impaired persons (Fig. 43)
Wheelchair suitable as a seat in a motor vehicle for transporting
persons with reduced mobility (Fig. 44)
All products approved by Bischoff & Bischoff as seats in vehicles are
tested according to ISO 7176-19.
