5.18. Backrest
To enable you to sit comfortably, the hardness of the backrest
upholstery can be adjusted.
5.18.1. Backrest cover
The tighter you adjust the backrest upholstery, the more

harder the backrest feels. First remove the backrest padding attached
with a Velcro Fastener.
You can then tighten or loosen the individual straps (Fig. 31).
To relieve certain regions of your back, tighten the straps there a little
more loosely. Now you have to fasten the backrest upholstery again
with the Velcro.
5.19. Push handles

To allow an accompanying person to push comfortably,
the push handles are adjustable in height in three steps. Swivel the side
parts upwards. Loosen the hexagonal screw on the inside of the push
handle (Fig. 32). Remove the screw completely. Pull the tube with the
push handle to the desired height (Fig 33). Then reinsert the screw and
tighten again with the lock nut.

5.20. Thru axles
The spoked wheels are attached to the chassis with a quick-release axle
(Fig. 34).
• Press the locking button of the quick-release axle with your finger and
pull off the wheel (Fig. 34).
• When reattaching the wheel, simply put it back on the holder. The
locking button must also be pressed in.
5.21. One-hand operation (optional)
With the one-hand operation you have two handrims on one wheel, so
you can drive both drive wheels with one hand.
The option can be mounted either on the left or on the right.
5.22. Passive lighting
Your wheelchair is equipped with reflectors on the back and in the
spokes as standard. These must not be covered.
