• Also note that the frame and upholstered parts can cool down
considerably in winter. If possible, do not park the wheelchair outside
in cold weather.
• Observe the storage and operating conditions.
When transferring between wheelchair and bed, please always keep in
mind:
• Apply both parking brakes.
• Swing the side part of the entry/exit side backwards.
• Swing the foot plates up or away (when getting in/out).
• Reporting of incidents:
If you, as the operator, user or their relatives, discover possible
defects or functional limitations, please contact an authorised
specialist dealer immediately. Operators, users or their relatives
should inform their specialist dealer who provided them with the
product of any suspected serious incidents that have had or may
have had, directly or indirectly, any of the following consequences
and that affect them.

Protect the wheelchair from sunlight to avoid
burns from heated components.
Attention: Due to the dimensions of the wheelchair,
it is necessary to check whether your wheelchair can
also be moved in the planned environment. This
applies in particular to the use of escape routes.

You can also report this to the competent higher federal
authority.
• the death of a patient, user or other person,
• the temporary or permanent serious deterioration of the state of
health of a patient, user or other person,
• a serious threat to public health.
2.2. Tipping hazard
If available, the anti-tip wheels on both sides (see chapter 5.) prevent the
wheelchair from tipping backwards as far as possible. Nevertheless,
please note that driving with anti-tip wheels is only possible to a
limited extent on stepped terrain, lifting platforms and ramps.
Ensure sufficient distance upwards, downwards and to the sides.
2.3. Safety in vehicles
The Pyro Light XL is not suitable as a vehicle seat. It must not be
used as such under any circumstances. It does not meet the
requirements of ISO 7176-19.
Failure to do so can result in serious injury and death in the event of
an accident (Fig. A).
The Pyro Light XL wheelchair is not crash-tested
and must therefore never be used as a seat in motor
vehicles for the transport of mobility-impaired
persons (KMP)!
You can tell if your wheelchair is not approved as a seat in motor
vehicles for the transport of mobility-impaired persons by the
means of the symbol on the type plate, (chapter 4.4).
