Maintenance and repair

Warning! Before carrying out repair or maintenance work, observe the safety
regulations and always unplug the mains plug.
We recommend the use of authorised NOVOPRESS workshops for all repair and maintenance
work.
The equipment should only be repaired by a qualified technician.
The maximum operating pressure and the activation pressure of the automatic pressure device
should only be adjusted at an authorised NOVOPRESS workshop.
7.1 Hydraulic unit HA 5:
After 200 pressings::
Checking the oil level
Note: Switch off the hydraulic unit and place it
in a horizontal position before checking
the oil level.
The level indicator of the oil-level meter (5) should
be between the top and bottom markings.
Fill up with oil if the indicator is close to the bottom
marking.
Note: Only top up with Panolin P9632 or an
equivalent synthetic oil.
Non-observance will result in damage
to the unit.
Changing the oil
Note: Only top up with Panolin P9632 or an
equivalent synthetic oil as the pipes and
the HCP are also topped up with the oil.
Non-observance will result in damage to the unit or to the HCP.
The first oil change should be carried out after approx. 5,000 activations or 6 months.
Subsequent oil changes should be carried out after approx. 15,000 activations, but at least once
a year.
Amount of oil: 3.5 litres.
On the lid of the oil reservoir there is a plug hole with a ventilation valve (4) for pouring in the oil.
After the stopper has been unscrewed, the used oil can be drawn off.
Replacing the oil.
The oil-level indicator of the oil-level meter (5) should be between the top and bottom markings.
Hydraulic oil
When they are delivered, the machines are filled with Panolin P9632 oil. This oil is suitable for
use in the machines at ambient temperatures of - 20 to + 60 °C.

- Check oil level.
- Check hydraulic unit, hose and hydraulic cylinder for oil leakage and
have repaired, if necessary.
- Check and clean coupling plug and coupling sleeve.
