5.9 Press and hold push-button H.
The pressing process can be started using the switch lever E.
Note:
The hydraulic unit has an automatic pressure device (ZWAG) which guarantees that the
maximum pressure force is always reached. As a safety precaution, the pressing device first
switches on at approx. 20% of the maximum pressure force. The pressing process may be
interrupted at any time within this safety margin. (Release push-button H and switch lever E).
When the automatic pressure device is switched on, the P1 light on the switch box of the
hydraulic unit is on. If maximum pressure has not been reached after a minute, the hydraulic
unit switches off automatically.
The Pmax light comes on. There is a fault with the pressing processes.
Push and then release the emergency stop switch to start the hydraulic unit. The Pmax light
goes out.
5.10 Release switch lever E and pushbutton H as soon as the final pressure has been reached.
The pawls of the hydraulic cylinder will open.
The pressing process has been completed.
Detach the hydraulic cylinder from the press ring. Open the press ring using the pin.
5.11 After each pressing operation, check the contour of the pressed fitting for burrs.
If burrs have appeared, lubricate the whole press contour K (see illustration to point 7.3.) with
lubricating oil.

- OKS 260 white assembly paste
- OKS 261 white assembly paste spray
(OKS Spezialschmierstoffe GmbH, Munich).
