Warranty regulations for new equipment from 1 January 1995
2-Year Warranty
The NOVOPRESS GmbH Pressen und Presswerkzeuge & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft
Company grants a 2-year warranty for the HCP system electrohydraulic press tool. The
warranty begins at the time of delivery, evidence of which (in the event of doubt) must be
provided in the form of the purchasing documents.
The warranty includes the repair of any damage to or defects of the machine occurring during
the warranty period which result from faulty material or fabrication.
Not included in the warranty are:
• Defects caused by inappropriate handling, insufficient maintenance or incorrect electrical or
hydraulic connections.
• Defects resulting from the use of press rings, press devices, accessories or spare parts that
are not original Novopress parts.
• Defects resulting from pressing fittings or objects that do not form part of the original
MAPRESS SUPER-SIZE Pressfitting System.
Any warranty claims are cancelled after a period of 2 years has elapsed from the time of
delivery of the unit to the user.
Repair under warranty is carried out free of charge.
The cost of all shipping is covered by the user.
Complaints will only be accepted if the unit is shipped to Novopress or a Novopress specialized
workshop without having been dismantled.
3-Year Warranty
The warranty period for HCP hydraulic cylinders, HA5 hydraulic units and press rings is
increased to 3 years if these have been sent to Novopress or a Novopress specialized
workshop for maintenance once a year. The charge for maintenance is as follows:
• HCP hydraulic cylinders and HA5 hydraulic units
• each press ring
5-Year Warranty
The warranty period for the press rings is increased to 5 years if they have been sent to
Novopress or a Novopress specialized workshop for maintenance once a year.
Warranty regulations for repairs from 1 January 1995
• Novopress grants a 6-month warranty for replaced spare parts.
• Novopress grants a 1-year warranty for replaced components.
