7.2 HCP Hydraulic cylinder:
Clean the hydraulic cylinder daily using
compressed air. When the cylinder is not in
use, it should be fastened in place on the
transport car. After being cleaned, the
guidance strips F on the hydraulic cylinder
should be treated with lubricating grease or
machine oil.
After every 200 pressings:
• Check the hydraulic cylinder for oil
leakage, and if necessary have it
repaired.
7.3 Press rings DN 65-100
The press rings should be cleaned daily using
compressed air and should be stored in the closed case
when not in use.
After every 20 pressings:
• Clean press contour K of the press rings with a
solvent.
• Lubricate the complete press contour K with
lubricating oil.
Recommended lubricants:
- OKS 260 white assembly paste
- OKS 2501 and OKS 471 white
assembly paste spray
(OKS Spezialschmierstoffe GmbH, Munich).
After every 200 pressings:
• Spray press ring hinges G with graphite oil.
• Spray graphite oil between sliding segments C and scales D.
• Check sliding segments C, lock V, scales D and shackles L for smooth running.
7.4 Visual and electrical inspection
Regularly:
Every 6 months:

Check mains cable including plug and extension cord with plug
connectors for visible damage and if necessary have it repaired.
Have an inspection complying with DIN VDE 0701-1 and
DIN VDE 0702, for protection class I electric devices, carried out by a
qualified technician, an authorized workshop or Novopress Neuss.
