SAFETY WARNINGS FOR THE MULTIFUNCTION MACHINE
Hold the power tool by insulated surfaces, as the grinding surface
may come into contact with its own wire. Damage to a "live" wire can
cause exposed metal parts of the power tool to become "live" and
may electrocute the operator.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PRINCIPLES (Multifunction machine)
• Hold the unit securely with a closed hand during operation.
• Before switching on the machine, make sure that the tool does not
touch the material to be machined.
• Before cutting through a floor, wall or other surface, make sure that
there are no electric or gas cables within the bending range. Cutting a
live wire can cause an electric shock and damage to a gas pipe can
lead to an explosion.
• Do not touch parts of the device that are in motion.
• Do not put the unit down before it has come to a complete stop.
• Hold the device firmly in your hand before switching it on.
• Do not touch the blade and the workpiece immediately after finishing
work, these parts may be very hot and can cause burns.
• To change the blade or the abrasive paper, first turn off the switch and
wait until the tool stops running, then unplug the tool from the power
socket.
• Before starting work, check that there is sufficient space under the
workpiece to prevent the blade from damaging the table or the floor.
• Wear a dust mask. Dust generated during work is harmful to health.
• Do not eat, drink or smoke in the room where lead-containing paint is
removed. Contact with or inhalation of dust containing lead compounds
may be hazardous to health.
• A dust extraction system must be connected to the machine before
grinding.
• The unit is not suitable for wet operation.
• Always keep the power cord of the appliance away from moving parts.
• If you notice any unusual behaviour of the device, smoke or strange
noises, immediately turn off the device and unplug it from the power
socket.
• To ensure proper cooling of the unit during operation, the ventilation
openings in the housing should not be obstructed.
ATTENTION! The device is designed for indoor operation.
Despite the inherently safe design, the use of protective equipment
and additional protective measures, there is always a residual risk of
injury during work.

PURPOSE
The multifunction machine is driven by a single-phase commutator motor
whose rotational speed is converted into an oscillating movement. The
possibility of using different working tools allows you to adapt them to
perform different types of work. This type of power tool is widely used for:
sawing and cutting wood, wood-based materials, plastics, non-ferrous
metals and fasteners (e.g. nails, screws, etc.).
It can also be used for soft ceramic tiles, grinding and dry scraping of
small surfaces. The advantage of the device is the possibility of
processing the above mentioned materials in places with difficult
access or near edges.
Its areas of use are small model making, locksmithing, carpentry and
all work in the field of independent amateur activity (DIY).
CAUTION! Do not use the power tool for purposes other than those
for which it was intended. Use the power tool only with original
accessories.
OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
Preparation for work
Make sure the machine is disconnected from the power supply before
installing accessories, dust extraction and maintenance.
Installation of dust extraction
Dust extraction consists of two parts: the extraction and the connection to
a hoover. The extraction is fitted before the work tool is attached. To mount
the extraction unit you need to place it on the tool holder head fig. A9 so
that the fixing screw hole is located on the underside of the multifunctional
unit fig. C3. There is a threaded hole on the underside of the tool holder
head fig. C1 for fixing the extraction unit with a screw. This screw, which
goes through the extraction fig. C3, must be aligned with the hole fig. C1.
Tighten it firmly with the accessory mounting spanner, but carefully so as
not to damage the lashing. Then attach the stub pipe (fig. A6) for
connection to the hoover, which can be adjusted in angle so as not to
interfere with the work.
Installing accessories
Accessories should be selected according to the work to be carried out.
The accessories are fixed in the tool holder (fig. A1). The order in which
the components are to be installed is shown in Fig. B. On the head there
are nipples (Fig. B1a) and on the accessories there are positioning holes
(Fig. B1b). The holes with the tabs must be aligned to avoid movement of
the working tool during operation. Next, the washer is placed fig. B2b, and
lastly the grub screw with cushioning washer is installed fig. B2c. A
correctly installed accessory should look as in fig. B3a and fig. B3b.
Operation of the device
Choosing the right tool is a very important part of the job, the right choice
will make your work easier and faster. The choice of the tool will depend
on the nature of the work to be done: sanding, scraping, cutting, and the
material in which we will be working: wood, metal, plastic. The device is
equipped with a speed regulation fig. A4, higher speeds translate into
higher oscillation and more intensive work. Apply the device to the material
to be worked on once it has reached the desired speed.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
ATTENTION! Before performing any installation, adjustment, repair
or operation, unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
• Always keep the unit clean.
• Do not use water or other liquids for cleaning.
• Clean the power tool with a brush or a dry piece of cloth.
• Clean the working tools with a wire brush.
• Clean the ventilation slots regularly to prevent the engine from
overheating.
• If excessive sparking occurs on the commutator, have the condition
of the motor carbon brushes checked by a qualified person.
• Always store the device in a dry place, out of the reach of children.
