Fault
The interior light
is not functioning.
The evaporator
(refrigeration
generator) in the
Nofrost system
is so iced over that
it can no longer
be defrosted fully
automatically.

Possible cause
Light switch is sticking. Fig. 1/3
The bulb, Fig. r/A or r/B,
is defective.
The freezer compartment door was
open for too long.
Remedial action
Check whether it can be moved.
Change the bulb. Fig. r/A
1. Pull out the mains plug or disconnect
the fuse.
2. Change the bulb
(replacement bulb, 220-240 V a.c.,
E14 bulb holder, see defective bulb
for wattage).
Change the bulb. Fig r/B
1. Pull out the mains plug or disconnect
the fuse.
2. Take out bottom glass drawer.
3. Change the bulb
(replacement lamp Osram Dulux S",
7 W, G23 base).
To defrost the evaporator, take the
frozen food out of the baskets, wrap
up the food and store in a cool location.
Switch off the appliance and move
it away from the wall. After approx.
20 min. the water begins to run into
the evaporation pan (at the rear of the
appliance, see. Fig. t
To prevent the evaporation pan from
overflowing in this case, repeatedly soak
up condensation with a sponge. When
no more condensation runs into the
evaporation pan, the evaporator has
been defrosted. Clean the interior.
Switch the appliance back on again.
