The preset time of 20 minutes can be
changed for the rapid cooling of food.
Press the timer" button and set
the required time with the selection
button 9. Can be set from 1 to
99 minutes.
To terminate the function, press
the timer" button 4 twice within
3 seconds.
Caution!
Drinks bottles may explode if
the storage time of 20 minutes
is exceeded.

Freezer compartment display
(indicates 4 different temperatures)
a) Set temperature
Set temperature is displayed.
b) Temperature display flashes
If the temperature display 5 flashes,
the freezer compartment was too
warm in the past.
c) AL" display flashes and alarm"
is displayed
If the AL" display 5 flashes and an
acoustic signal sounds at the same
time, the freezer compartment is too
warm due to a fault or a power failure.
If the alarm off" button 6 is pressed,
the warmest temperature" reached
in the freezer compartment is indicated
on the display 5 for ten seconds.
Then this value is deleted.
The alarm" display goes out when
the freezer compartment has reached
the set temperature.
d) SU" is displayed
If SU" is indicated on display 5,
fast freezing has been switched on.

alarm off" button
Is used to switch off
a) door warning signal
Switches on if the appliance door
is open for longer than one minute.
b) temperature warning signal
AL" flashes on the display 5 and
alarm" is displayed.
The temperature warning signal
switches on if the freezer
compartment is too warm and the
frozen food is at risk of thawing.
Press the alarm off" button 6 to
indicate the warmest temperature
reached in the freezer compartment
on display 5 for 10 seconds.
Then this value is deleted.
The warning signal may switch on
without any risk to the frozen food
when:
S the appliance is switched on.
S large quantities of fresh food are
placed in the freezer.

a) to set the temperature of the
refrigerator and freezer compartment.
