INPUT
O POWER Switch
Press once to tum the power ON, a second time to tum
the power OFF,
Note: Be sure to unplug the AC adapter from the AC
mains socket when the R100 is not in use.
@ INPUT Control
The INPUT control is use to match the R100's input
sensitivity to the source level. Whether you use an
electric guitar, an electronic keyboard or a line source
(such as a tape recorder), the R100 will handle it with
ease.
To set the INPUT level control, connect your instru-
ment or other source and play it at the loudest ex-
pected volume. Set the LEVEL control so that the
SIGNAL indicator lights, but the CLIP does not light
(the CLIP indicator may actually flash very briefly on
sudden transient peaks). If the CLIP indicator lights
fairly consistently, the sound will be distorted and you
should lower the setting of the INPUT level control. |
Ө Signal Indicators
These two LEDs aid in setting the INPUT control. The
SIGNAL LED lights to indicated the presence of an
input signal, and the CLIP indicator lights to warn of
excessive levels that may cause clipping and distorted
sound.

@ Numeric Display & Function Indicators
A 2-digit numeric LED display shows the currently
selected effect program number or the current value of
a selected effect parameter. The РЈ, P2, P3, and P4
indicators show which of the 4 available parameters is
selected while you're editing effect parameters. The
PGM and MEMORY indicators function in the MIDI
mode to indicate whether a MIDI program change
number or effect program number is being shown on
the numeric display. The BYPASS
indicator lights
when the R100 is set to the BYPASS (effect OFF —
direct signal only) mode.
© Control Keys
The PARAM key accesses the four parameters pro-
vided for each effect program, and the A and W keys
are then used to set the new parameter value.
When in the effect selection mode (accessed by press-
ing the MEMORY key), the А and У keys are used to
select the desired effect program.
The RECALL key activates the selected program.
The MIDI key accesses the R100's program change
assignment function, and the BYPASS key toggles the
R100 BYPASS mode ON and OFF.
