Note

Before the appliance starts
1. Place the appliance in a flat floor.
2. Turn off the engine switch.

3. Check engine oil or fuel for leakage. Eliminate leak-
age if any.
4. Check that all threaded connections are secure.
Tighten loose connectors.
5. Check the surroundings of the muffler for dirt. Re-
move any dirt present.
6. Check the oil level.

Note
Place the engine in a horizontal position and check the
oil level in the stopped state.

Recommended oil: diesel engine oil at or above CC,
SAE 10W-30, 15W-40.
Never operate the engine without an air filter, as this will
result in increased engine wear.
7. Check the air filter for dirt and damage. Clean the air
filter depending on the degree of contamination.
8. Unscrew the top cover of the fuel tank.
9. Refill the tank.

Do not exceed the maximum level, i.e., the filter plane.
Note
Please use diesel fuel that matches the specifications of
the environment.

DANGER
If the engine is refilled with gasoline, it may cause a fire
during operation, so be sure not to refill with the wrong
fuel.
10. Check the operational safety of the drive unit of the
engine. The engine must not be started when the
unit is abnormal.
Recoil pull-start engine
1. Turn on the fuel cock.

2. Ensure that the speed lever is placed in "START"
position.

3. Slowly pull the start handle until you feel resistance.
4. Slowly release the handle to the default state.
5. Use both hands to quickly pull the rope all the way
out.
6. If the engine is not started, repeat steps 3-5.
Note
Slowly release the handle back after starting. Do not re-
lease it back suddenly.
Electric start engine
1. Turn on the fuel cock.

2. Slowly pull the start handle 2-3 times to rotate the
PTO shaft several times.
3. Ensure that the speed lever is placed in "START"
position.

4. Insert the start key and turn the switch to the
"START" position for 1-2 seconds. After the engine
starts, release the key so that it automatically re-
turns to the "ON" position.

CAUTION
 If the start motor is operated for a long time, the bat-
tery voltage will be decreased and the motor may be
burn out.
 Before start, when turning the start switch key clock-
wise to "ON" position, the oil alarm lamp will be
turned on. After the engine is started (the start
switch key is placed in "ON" position), the oil alarm
lamp should be turned off; If the oil alarm lamp is al-
ways on, the oil level should be checked.
If the engine does not start in 10 seconds, wait for about
15 seconds and repeat step 4.
