ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO
DEL MOTOCICLO
NOTA*: Se non avete confidenza col fun-
zionamento del motociclo, prima di gui-
darlo, leggete attentamente le istruzioni
contenute nel paragrafo "COMANDI".

CONTROLLI PRELIMINARI
Ogniqualvolta si intende usare il motociclo si
deve effettuare un controllo generale proce-
dendo alle seguenti verifiche:
- controllare il livello del carburante e dell'olio
motore (pag. 34-74);
- controllare il livello del fluido freni (pag. 110);
- controllare lo sterzo girando il manubrio a
fondo corsa in entrambi i sensi;
- controllare la pressione dei pneumatici
(pag. 26);
- controllare la tensione della catena (pag. 102);
- controllare ed eventualmente registrare il
comando gas (pag. 98);
- ruotare la chiave dell'interruttore di accensio-
ne in posizione IGNITION e verificare, con il
cambio in folle, l'accensione della spia di
quest'ultimo;
- controllare ed eventualmente registrare il
comando frizione (pag. 100);
- accendere le luci di posizione e verificare che
si illumini il quadro strumenti;
- accendere la luce abbagliante e verificare
l'accensione della spia;
- azionare gli indicatori di direzione, e verificare
l'accensione della spia;
- verificare l'accensione della luce dello stop
posteriore;

RIDING
NOTE*: If you are not familiar with opera-
ting the motorcycle read paragraphs on
"CONTROLS" (pag. 32) before riding this
motorcycle.
PRERIDING CHECKS
Any time you ride your motorcycle, make a
general inspection first and proceed to check
the following:
- check fuel level and gearbox oil level (page
34-74);
- check the brake fluid level (page 110);
- check the steering by turning the handlebar
both ways;
- check the tire pressure (page 26);
- check the chain tension (page 102);
- check the twist-grip adjusting it if neces-
sary (page 98);
- turn the ignition switch key in IGNITION
position and with idle gearbox check the
coming on of the gearbox telltales, the ones
warning light;
- check the clutch control adjusting it if
necessary (page 100);
- switch on the parking lights and check the
instrument lights up;
- switch on the driving beam and check pilot
light coming on;
- operate the turn indicators and check that
the telltale comes on;
- check if the rear stop light is functioning;

CONTROLES PRELIMINAIRES
Chaque fois que vous utilisez votre moto,
effectuer un contrôle général comme suit:
-contrôler le niveau du carburant et celui de
l'huile des vitesses (pages 34-74);
- contrôler le niveau du fluide de freinage
(page 110);
- contrôler la direction en tournant le guidon
à fin de course dans les deux sens;
- contrôler la pression des pneus (page 26);
- contrôler la tension de la chaîne (page 102);
- contrôler et régler s'il le faut la poignée des
gaz (page 98);
- tourner la clef de démarrage sur IGNITION
et, avec boîte des vitesses au point mort,
verifier l'allumage de voyant de ce dernier;
- contrôler et régler s'il le faut l'embrayage
(page 100);
- gagnez accès aux feux de position et con-
trôlez que le tableau des instruments soit
allumé;
- allumer les feux de route et contrôler l'allu-
mage du témoin;
- agir sur les indicateurs de direction et con-
trôler que le voyant s'allume.
