7.3 Test the contacting conductivity sensor
1. Disconnect the sensor from the ultrapure conductivity module.
2. Electrodes—Measure the resistance between the two electrodes (item 1). There should be an
infinite resistance when the sensor is dry and exposed to air.
3. Pt100—Measure the resistance between the two Pt100 pins (item 2). Compare the reading with
the values in the table that follows.

The Diagnostics/Test menu shows current and historical information about the sensor. Refer to
Table 6. Push the main menu icon, then select Devices. Select the device and select Device menu
> Diagnostics/Test.
