Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Conducting improper repairs to the ap-
pliance puts the person carrying out the
repairs and the user in danger.
■ Only authorised specialists may re-
pair the appliance. If in doubt, con-
tact our service department (see
page EN-40).
■ Only carry out the actions which are
described in this user manual.
■ Never repair the appliance yourself.
You can endanger yourself and sub-
sequent users.
Problems with operation
Problem
The appliance cannot
be switched on.
The selected
dishwashing
programme will not
start or it stops.
Possible cause
The mains plug (29) has not
been inserted into a socket.
There is no voltage being
supplied through the socket.
The appliance door is not
closed properly.
The water tap is not properly
on.
The inlet hose (30) is
defective.
There is a risk of
overflowing. The electrical
water stop system has been
activated.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to property damage and to
damage to the appliance.
■ If water overflows, switch off the
water supply immediately and then
contact the service department (see
page EN-40).
■ If the water has overflowed, remove
any water standing in the dishwash-
er before restarting a wash pro-
gramme.
Solution
Insert the mains plug into the
socket.
Check the fuse. Check the socket
by connecting another device.
Close the door of the appliance.
Turn the water tap on completely.
